Service Policy

Service Overview

Welcome to the Rent’n’Repair platform. We connect households and businesses with verified service providers for home maintenance, cleaning, and salon services, and with vendors listing properties to rent.

Through our website and mobile application you can browse services, book an appointment for a date and time that suits you, receive a quotation before work begins, and track the status of every job in one place.

Services We Offer

Home services include AC servicing, carpentry, electrical work, fumigation, geyser installation and repair, general handyman work, home appliance repair, painting, and plumbing. Cleaning services cover sofa, carpet, curtain and chair cleaning, kitchen and whole-home deep cleaning, and water tank cleaning. Salon services are offered to female customers and are fulfilled by female providers. Subscription plans bundle recurring maintenance for a fixed period, and vendors may list properties for rent.

Booking and Scheduling

When you book, you choose a service, a date, a time, and the address where the work is to be done. A booking is a request until a provider accepts it, and you will be notified when its status changes.

Where a service is not listed, you can raise a custom request describing the job and attaching photographs, and a provider will quote for it individually.

Customer Responsibility

Please provide safe access to the property and make sure an adult is present while work is carried out.

Clear the working area before the provider arrives and move fragile or valuable belongings out of the way. Any concern about the standard of work should be raised through the application while the provider is still on site where possible, and in any case within 48 hours.

Pricing and Quotations

Prices shown in the application are indicative starting prices. Many services begin with a visit and inspection charge, after which the provider prepares a quotation for the actual work.

Inspection First

The provider inspects the job before quoting, so that the price reflects what the work actually requires.

A quotation setting out the work, materials, labour, and total charge is provided before anything chargeable begins. No paid work starts without your approval, and you are free to decline a quotation, in which case only the visit charge applies.

Materials and Labour

Providers use good-quality materials and, where a manufacturer part is appropriate and available, will say so in the quotation.

You will be told the expected cost of materials and labour before you approve the work. Where hidden problems come to light once work has started, the provider must stop and obtain your approval before doing anything that adds to the price.

Our Service Providers

Providers apply to join the platform as a business and must submit their owner name, business name, business address, and CNIC before their account is reviewed. An account stays inactive until it is approved.

Providers are independent contractors rather than employees of Rent’n’Repair. They are responsible for their own work, tools, and materials. We monitor job outcomes and complaints, and we may suspend or remove a provider from the platform.

User Commitments

To maintain a safe and reliable platform, all users must:

  • Provide accurate personal and contact information.
  • Keep their account credentials secure.
  • Be available for scheduled appointments, or cancel in good time.
  • Treat service providers with courtesy and respect.
  • Pay approved charges promptly.
  • Describe the job accurately when booking, so the right provider is assigned.

Repeatedly missing appointments, cancelling at short notice, or leaving approved charges unpaid may result in cancellation fees, account restrictions, or suspension.

Rent’n’Repair reserves the right to modify, restrict, suspend, or discontinue services when necessary to protect the platform, its customers, and its service providers.
