1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, downloading, installing, registering for, or using the Rent’n’Repair website, application, or services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

When you do not agree with these terms, you must stop using the platform and its services.


2. User Accounts

Users must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information.
  • Keep your account information updated.
  • Protect your password and login credentials.
  • Prevent unauthorized use of your account.
  • Notify us when you believe your account has been compromised.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.

We may request identity verification before approving certain rentals, high-value transactions, payments, refunds, or account changes.


3. Rental Agreement and Terms


3.1 Security Deposits

Certain rental items may require a temporary security deposit.

The amount of the deposit may depend on:

  • The value of the item.
  • The length of the rental.
  • The selected rental category.
  • The customer’s account or transaction history.
  • The risk associated with the rental.

The deposit may be released after the item is returned safely, completely, and on time.

Deductions may be made for:

  • Damage
  • Missing components
  • Excessive cleaning
  • Late return
  • Loss
  • Theft
  • Replacement expenses
  • Other applicable charges

3.2 Rental Period

The rental period begins at the scheduled delivery or pickup time and ends at the confirmed return time.

Customers are responsible for arranging timely return or collection.


3.3 Late Returns and Fees

Rental items returned after the agreed deadline may incur hourly or daily late fees.

Items not returned within 72 hours of the required return time may be treated as missing or stolen.

In such cases, Rent’n’Repair may:

  • Charge the full replacement value.
  • Retain the security deposit.
  • Suspend or terminate the customer’s account.
  • Initiate collection or legal proceedings.
  • Report suspected theft to the appropriate authorities.

3.4 Damage, Loss, and Theft

The customer assumes responsibility for the rental item from the time it is delivered or collected until it is returned and accepted.

Customers may be charged for:

  • Accidental damage
  • Negligent damage
  • Improper use
  • Missing accessories
  • Lost components
  • Total loss
  • Theft
  • Irreparable damage

Minor damage may be billed according to the repair cost.

A completely lost, stolen, or irreparably damaged item may result in a charge equal to its full retail or replacement value.


3.5 Condition Reporting

Customers must inspect the item when it is received.

Any existing defect or damage must be reported immediately through the platform or customer support channel.

Failure to report existing damage may affect the customer’s ability to dispute later damage charges.


3.6 Proper Use

Rental items must only be used:

  • For their intended purpose.
  • According to manufacturer instructions.
  • In a safe and lawful manner.
  • By individuals qualified to operate them where applicable.

Customers must not alter, dismantle, resell, sublease, transfer, or misuse rented items.


4. Repair Agreement and Terms


4.1 Authorization of Diagnostics and Work

Submitting an item for repair authorizes Rent’n’Repair or its service partners to perform an initial diagnostic assessment.

Repair work requiring payment will only proceed after the customer receives and approves the quotation, except where a separately agreed service arrangement applies.


4.2 Repair Quotations

Repair quotations may include:

  • Diagnostic fees
  • Labor charges
  • Replacement parts
  • Delivery or collection charges
  • Taxes
  • Additional service fees

A quotation may change when additional hidden damage or faults are discovered.

The customer will be informed before additional paid work is performed.


4.3 Data Loss Warning

Customers must back up all files, accounts, applications, photos, documents, and other data before submitting an electronic device for repair.

Rent’n’Repair and its technicians are not responsible for data loss, corruption, deletion, device reset, software damage, or loss of stored information resulting from diagnostics or repair work, except where liability cannot legally be excluded.


4.4 Parts

Repairs may use:

  • Original manufacturer parts
  • Compatible replacement parts
  • Refurbished parts, where disclosed
  • Customer-approved alternatives

Availability depends on the item, manufacturer, supplier, location, and repair requirements.


4.5 Repair Warranty

Successful repairs include a standard 30-day warranty covering the same repaired issue.

The warranty may not cover:

  • New or unrelated faults
  • Accidental damage
  • Water damage
  • Physical damage after repair
  • Customer misuse
  • Unauthorized modification
  • Repairs performed by another provider
  • Software or data-related problems
  • Damage caused by external accessories

4.6 Unclaimed Items

Customers must collect repaired, unrepaired, or diagnosed items within the communicated collection period.

Items left unclaimed for more than 60 days may be:

  • Sold
  • Recycled
  • Donated
  • Disposed of
  • Used to recover unpaid storage, diagnostic, repair, or service charges

Where required, reasonable attempts may be made to contact the customer before taking such action.


5. Payment Gateway and Billing Terms


5.1 Payment Authorization

By placing a booking or repair order, you authorize charges for all applicable:

  • Rental fees
  • Repair fees
  • Diagnostic fees
  • Security deposits
  • Late fees
  • Delivery charges
  • Collection charges
  • Damage charges
  • Replacement costs
  • Taxes
  • Other approved charges

5.2 Third-Party Payment Processing

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment gateway providers.

The payment provider may apply its own terms, security procedures, verification requirements, and processing times.


5.3 Taxes and Additional Charges

Applicable taxes, delivery fees, deposits, convenience fees, and other charges will be displayed before payment where reasonably possible.

Additional fees may apply when:

  • An item is returned late.
  • A delivery or repair appointment is missed.
  • A rental item is damaged.
  • Components are missing.
  • A customer requests additional work.
  • Additional repair problems are discovered and approved.

5.4 Failed Payments

When a payment is declined or reversed, Rent’n’Repair may:

  • Suspend the transaction.
  • Cancel the booking.
  • Delay delivery or repair.
  • Restrict the customer’s account.
  • Attempt to collect outstanding charges through available lawful methods.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Rent’n’Repair’s total liability relating to a specific rental, repair, booking, or transaction will not exceed the amount paid by the customer for that specific service.

Rent’n’Repair will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or business losses, including:

  • Lost profits
  • Lost opportunities
  • Lost data
  • Business interruption
  • Loss of use
  • Third-party claims

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.


7. Intellectual Property

All content and software made available through the platform may be owned by Rent’n’Repair or its licensors.

This may include:

  • Logos
  • Brand names
  • Website content
  • Application content
  • Graphics
  • Photographs
  • Software
  • Interface designs
  • Databases
  • Written materials
  • Service descriptions

Users may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, resell, publish, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit platform content without written authorization.


8. User Conduct and Restrictions

Users agree not to:

  • Violate applicable laws.
  • Provide false information.
  • Commit or attempt fraud.
  • Use stolen payment methods.
  • Misuse rental items.
  • Interfere with platform security.
  • Access another user’s account.
  • Upload malicious software.
  • Harass technicians, employees, providers, or customers.
  • Use the platform for unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to avoid legitimate fees or charges.
  • Manipulate ratings, reviews, bookings, or transactions.

9. Suspension and Termination

Rent’n’Repair may suspend, restrict, or terminate an account when a user:

  • Violates these Terms.
  • Fails to pay outstanding charges.
  • Damages, loses, or steals rental property.
  • Commits or attempts fraud.
  • Misuses the platform.
  • Creates a security risk.
  • Repeatedly misses scheduled appointments.
  • Provides false information.
  • Engages in unlawful conduct.

Termination does not remove the user’s responsibility to pay any outstanding amount.


10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the business is legally registered.

Any dispute will be handled according to the applicable laws and dispute-resolution procedures of that jurisdiction.

Where permitted, parties should first attempt to resolve disputes through good-faith communication before beginning formal legal proceedings.


11. Amendments to These Terms

Rent’n’Repair may update these Terms & Conditions periodically.

Updated terms may be displayed through the website or mobile application.

Continued use of the platform after revised terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
