Rent’n’Repair respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information when you use our website, mobile application, our home and cleaning services, our salon services, our property rental listings, or any related feature.
By using the platform, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
We may collect information that identifies you, relates to you, or can reasonably be associated with you.
Personal information may include:
Service providers who register a business on Rent’n’Repair must submit images of both sides of their CNIC, along with their owner name, business name, and business address. These documents are used to verify identity before an account is approved, to reduce fraud, and to protect customers who allow a provider into their home. CNIC images are accessible only to our verification team and are never shown to customers.
Payment-related information may include:
Payments are processed through licensed third-party payment service providers.
Rent’n’Repair does not directly store raw credit or debit card details on its servers.
We may automatically collect technical information, including:
With your permission, we may collect precise or approximate location information.
Location information may be used to:
You may control location permissions through your device or application settings. Declining location access does not prevent you from booking a service; you can enter your address manually instead.
You can create an account with an email address and password, or by signing in with Google. Where you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, and may receive your name, email address, and profile picture. We never receive your Google password.
We send a one-time passcode (OTP) to your email address to verify ownership of that address and to let you reset a forgotten password. OTPs are short-lived and are not used as a general login method.
When you sign in, the application registers a device token with us. This token identifies your installation so that we can deliver booking and service notifications to the correct device. You can turn notifications off at any time from your profile settings or from your device settings.
If you register as a service provider or property vendor, we additionally collect and process your owner name, business name, business address, business type, CNIC images, the services or properties you list, your pricing and applicable commission, and the status of every job assigned to you. A provider account is reviewed by our team and remains inactive until it is approved.
Where you take part in the referral programme, we record your referral code, the accounts that joined using it, and the rewards credited to you. Where you collect daily rewards, we record your activity streak and reward balance. Where you subscribe to a maintenance plan, we record the plan, its start date, its renewal status, and the services included.
This information is used to calculate what you have earned, to prevent abuse of the rewards programme through duplicate or fraudulent accounts, and to keep an accurate record of amounts owed to you.
Salon services are offered to female customers and are fulfilled by female service providers. Booking details for these services are shared only with the assigned provider and the staff needed to coordinate the appointment.
We may use your information to:
We do not sell your personal information.
